Tangent is a leading UK Manufacturer selling contemporary workplace solutions to a wide variety of clients, dealers, A&D, and D&B. Offering a comprehensive workspace selection of fit for purpose and bespoke solutions to fully meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Tangent is undergoing a period of substantial growth with many new products in the pipeline, as a result Tangent is looking to develop its portfolio to offer a complete workspace solution including desking, storage, seating, tables and accessories.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to assist and support an aggressive growth plan.
Based: London /London Showroom (Clerkenwell)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing new and existing network of London dealers
- Raising Tangent’s profile amongst architects and specifiers
- Instigating network initiatives
- Liaising with marketing on promotional ideas
You will be a determined self-starter with drive and enthusiasm and able to demonstrate proven selling skills. The ability to build and develop enduring business relationships is prerequisite: the role calls for an individual with at least 4-5 years industry knowledge and experience.
This is a true business development role, requiring a high calibre sales professional capable of identifying and exploiting new business opportunities.
The role has a good basic salary + commission, the company also offers a stakeholder pension.
